Dampare’s Police administration begins investigation into Lamashegu shooting incident

The Inspector General of Police, COP Dr. George Akuffo Dampare led Ghana Police Service has commenced investigation into Lamashegu shooting incident.

The Ghana Police Service has notified the public that, the Northern Regional Police Command has commenced investigation into a shooting incident that occured at Lamashegu, Tamale.

Police issues update on the arrest of Oliver Mawuse Barker-Vormawor

The shooting was said to happened on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at around 1300 hours.

According to report, the incident subsequently led to an attack on the police by the youth of the community.

The police, whiles working on releasing a full statement on the incident, has called on members of the Lamashegu community to remain calm and assist in investigation into the matter.
