The campaign manager of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for December 2020 polls professor Joshua Alabi is calling on Ghanaians to speak up on wrongdoings under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government.
The former Vice Chancellor of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) is therefore urging individuals, groups and institutions to speak up against wrongs in society, regardless of which political party is in power.
Professor Joshua Alabi further said, wrongs thrive when right thinking people remain silent on issues that question and undermine the collective good of the people.
The defeated National Democratic Congress presidential aspirant who lost regrettably to former President John Dramani Mahama is therefore calling on Ghanaians to let their voices be heard, especially on governance and politics, in the run up to the December 7, 2020 general elections.
Professor Joshua Alabi was speaking at a meeting between the Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana (CLOSAG) and the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), H.E John Dramani Mahama, in Accra on Thursday, 13th August, 2020.
In a statement issued by the party’s spokesperson for election 2020, James Agyenim-Boateng, the campaign manager Professor Alabi said, it is easy for politicians to be dismissed even when they raise cogent issues about governance and decisions that have adverse consequences for the people, adding “keeping quiet is not helping all of us”. He explained.
