Final ICT training for teachers to accrue CPD Points and Certificate released


Management of KA Technologies in collaboration with the National Teaching Council (NTC) has announced a final online ICT training workshop for teachers to accrue Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points and certificates.

In a wireless statement to teachers, the KA Technologies said all “TM1” users should kindly complete their ICT training which has been scheduled for Senior High School (SHS) and Junior High School (JHS) Teachers across the country.

For teachers who have not complete their ICT training, KA Technologies is reminding them to endeavour to complete it in the limited time frame.


Upon successful completion of the training, teachers will earn Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points including a Certificate.

Date and Time for ICT Training for Teachers

According to the notice, all teachers are informed that, the final online ICT training will commence on 19th December, 2022 and ends on 21st December, 2022

. The 3-day online ICT training will start from 3:00pm to 5:00pm each day.

According to the Education Regulatory Bodies Act 2020, Act 1023, 67(1) “A person shall not practice as a teacher unless the person is registered as a teacher in accordance with this act”

Section 79 of the above Act reads “A person shall not knowingly or negligently employ a person as a teacher in an institution unless the teacher is registered under this Act.” Also, note that teachers are expected to renew their registration within fifteen days before the specified expiry date.”
