Former NPP General Secretary Sir John has Passed on

Chief Executive Officer of the Forestry Commission and the former General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, popularly Sir John, has passed on.

Information available to coverghana indicates that the Chief Executive Officer of the Forestry Commission and the former General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, popularly Sir John, has passed on.

According to the information, Sir John was critically ill and was undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.

Breaking the news, one of the stunch members of the ruling party who is also the Communication Director for the President Mr. Eugene Arhin posted on his Facebook page ” R.I.P Sir John Till We Meet Again”
