Voter’s Registration Excersise : EC asks Security officers to Enforce Covid-19 Safety Protocols
The Electoral Commission of Ghana begun registering citizens onto the New voters register three days ago amidst the covid-19 pandemic outbreak.
Even though the commission has put in place measures to ensure that the covid-19 safety protocols adhered to, many citizens who turned up at the registration centres failed to adhere to the measures put in place by the commission.

In the light of this development, the Electoral Commission of Ghana has issued a press release in which the commission indicated that, henceforth, the security officers stationed at the various registration centres across the country will help enforce, the covid-19 safety protocols such as social distancing, wearing of face masks, temperature checks among others.
