Fuel Prices will hit 9 cedis per litre by end of March

• Fuel Prices will hit 9 cedis per litre by end of March.
• This forcast is by the Member of Parliament for the Bongo constituency Mr. Edward Bawa.

The Member of Parliament for the Bongo constituency Mr. Edward Bawa has forecast that Fuel Price in the country will hit GH¢9 per liter by the end of the month of March.

According to the lawmaker, the invasion of Ukraine by Russia has an effect on the prices of the fuel at the pump and even before the invasion began, the price of fuel prices was increased.

The lawmaker in a report on 3news said “You and I know that obviously Ukraine would have definitely had an effect on us but before Ukraine’s invasion there were was an increase in petroleum prices in Ghana.

Let us be honest, if the government does not do anything and the next window, which is on the 16th of March, there is going to be an increase in fuel prices”

He further stressed that “By the close of the month we will hit 9 cedis per litre.”
