Ghanaian Businessman Nana Kwame Bediako popularly called cheddar has reacted to the caution issued by the Bank of Ghana against his yet to be launched cryptocurrency named “Freedom Coin”
The Bank of Ghana in a statement cautioned the general public against dealing in the freedom coin explaining that they have not licensed any company to run such cryptocurrency in the country.
Reacting to the statement from the bank of Ghana, Cheddar stated that the bank of Ghana has more work to do than worry about his freedom coin.
He explained that the the Ghana cedi is depreciating and it is almost 8 cedis to a dollar so the Bank of Ghana has more to worry about.
In a tweet on his officially verified Twitter handle, Nana Kwame Bediako wrote “Good morning Ghana our cedi is depreciating almost 8 cedis to a dollar. I think the Bank of Ghana has more to worry about than a Freedom coin that’s not even launched. 🤩”
