GES announces date for 2023 Promotion examinations
The Ghana Education Service has release a date for the Conduct of the 2023 promotion aptitude test for teachers who have put in their application for promotion and have been shortlisted.
According to a circular from the Director General for the Ghana Education Service, shortlisting for applicants eligible to write the aptitude test for Promotion Ranks; Principal Superintendent, Assistant Director II, Assistant Director I and Deputy Director has been completed and arrangements are being made to conduct the examination.
Date for GES 2023 Promotion examinations
The circular also states that the Management of the Ghana Education Service’s proposed date for the aptitude test is 28th February, 2023 and 1st March, 2023 simultaneously in all regions across the country.
The Service further indicated that the Index numbers, Regional centers and other vital information needed for the successful conduct of the promotion aptitude test will be communicated through the Regional Directorates to all short-listed candidates.
BACKGROUND
Promotion examinations within the Ghana Education Service is conducted every year to enable Staff of the Service progress from one rank to another. This year, the promotion examination is going to be conducted for teacher seeking to move to the following ranks;
1. Principal Superintendent
2. Assistant Director II
3. Assistant Director I
4. Deputy Director
