Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced guidelines for distributing Academic Intervention Funds to management of schools.
Account to the GES, category of persons to benefit from the Intervention Funds are Management, Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of Day and Boarding institutions.

For the avoidance of doubt, the Ghana Education Service said, Management refers to the following officers:
1. Head
2. Assistants
3. Senior Housemaster/Mistress
4. Bursar
The letter written by the Deputy Director-General of Ghana Education Service (GES) in charge of Management Service Lawyer Anthony Boateng to Regional Directors of Education said, special attention should be given to the kitchen staff of every institution.

It is the expectation of Management that, the Cost Centre Managers will manage the distribution to ensure fairness in terms of participation in the general management of the intervention programme.
