GES gives timeline for school selection process for 2021 BECE candidates

Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced timeline for school selection process for the 2021 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates.
According to GES, the school selection process will commence after the 2021 BECE.
In a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of GES Madam Cassandra Twum Ampofo, Candidates, Teachers, Heads of Basic Schools, Directors of Education and the general public are informed that, the 2021 Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE) will start from Monday 15th November, 2021 to Friday 19th November, 2021 at all the designated 2,158 Centres across the country.

Management of GES wishes to congratulate all 571,894 Candidates involved for their hard work and fortitude so far and to also express its profound gratitude to all Teachers, Heads of Basic
Schools, Directors of Education, Parents/Guardians and all Stakeholders for the crucial roles they have played so far in preparing the candidates for the examination
Candidates, Invigilators, Supervisors, Schools Authorities, teachers and parents are advised to desist from any form of examination malpractice. GES, WAEC and the Security Services are working jointly to ensure the smooth conduct of the examinations at all the centres across the country.

Additionally, Supervisors and Invigilators are to ensure strict adherence to the COVID-19 protocols at all centres.
“Parents, candidates and the general public are informed that the school selection process will commence after the BECE. Details of the selection process will be communicated in due course. On this note, Management wishes all Candidates SUCCESS AND GOOD LUCK.”
