GES receives 20,000 free sandals from Access Bank for students
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has partnered with Access Bank to provide 20,000 free sandals to students nationwide, marking this year’s “My First Day at School” celebration. The initiative, “Sandal More for A Better Tomorrow,” aims to promote comfort and confidence in young learners.
Dr. Eric Nkansah, GES Director-General, expressed gratitude to Access Bank for the donation. “What started as a discussion a few months ago has yielded this fruitful collaboration,” he said.
The national launch took place at the Kroma Cluster of Schools in Nungua, where Apostle Dr. Christian Koramoah, GES Financial Controller, represented Dr. Nkansah and donated school supplies to students on behalf of the Service.
This partnership demonstrates a commitment to supporting Ghanaian students’ educational journey, one step at a time.
