GFA delegation meets Antoine Semenyo to play for Black Stars on nationality switch

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has met with Antoine Semenyo to play for Ghana Black Stars in the upcoming 2022 World Cup Quilifers against Nigeria.

Our sources have confirmed that, Bristol City centre forward Antoine Semenyo has expressed readiness to play for Ghana Black Stars on nationality switch.

Further information has disclosed that, Antoine Semenyo has commenced his nationality switch process towards his readiness to play for the Black Stars.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Football Association wants him available for the 2022 World Cup Quilifers against Nigeria.

The Black Stars of Ghana will clash Nigeria in a two-legged tie in March 2022 to book for a place in Qatar 2022.

The 22 years old has 10 goal contribution in 16 games for the Championship side so far on his International contract.

Information available suggest that, Antoine Semenyo was born in Chelsea, England, but has never played for England since.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) after the earlier exit of the African Cup of Nations has been on the search for Ghanainan Players abroad and other top players who show interest to play for Black Stars.

Currently, GFA has contacted Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi and Brighton’s Tariq Lamptey to join Black Stars as a way of improving the quality of the national team.
