Ghana Police Service Arrests 5 Persons in connection with the murder of the MP for Mfantsiman East, Hon. Ekow Quansah Hayford

The Ghana Police Service says it has arrested some persons in connection with the murder of the Member of Parliament for Mfantseman East, Hon. Ekow Quansah Hayford.

It could be recalled that the Member of Parliament for the Mfantsiman East Constituency was killed on 9 October 2020 by armed men suspected to be robbers while returning from a campaign program.

Few days after the grouesome murder of Hon. Ekow Quansah Hayford, the Ghana Police Service has announced that they have arrested five (5) persons in connection with the murder of the Member of Parliament for Mfantsiman East Constituency.

The Ghana Police Service added that the Five persons that have been arrested in connection with the murder of the MP are being taken through lawful Police
procedures and further updates will
be given in due time.

In a tweet, the Law enforcement agency said;

Five persons have been arrested
in connection with the murder of the Member of Parliament for Mfantsiman East, Hon. Ekow Quansah Hayford. They are being taken through lawful Police procedures. Further updates will  begiven in due time.
