Grammys 2022: West African Wins Best Global Music Album
A West African musician wins the Best Music Album at the just ended Grammys Award
The 64th Grammys Awards ceremony was celebrated on 3th April 2022 at the MGM Grand Arena, Las Vegas, United States.
It was hosted by Trevor Noah.
Angelique Kidjo from Africa (Benin) won the Best Global Music Album with her album “Mother Nature.” On the stage to receive her award, she sent a snappy congratulatory message to all hands that made it possible to get the height with the album Mother Nature. She sent her warn gratitude to Burna Boy for featuring on “Do Yourself”
“Young Musicians from Africa will storm the world,” she promised.
She mentioned some names like Yemi Alade, Burna Bwoy, Mr. Eazi among others. She also thanked producers, managers, writers and everybody that contributed to the Grammy recognition and motivated them in keeping their working pace.
The Grammys Award has been recognized and valued by the world as the largest Award Scheme across the continent.
