Henry Quartey puts Psalm Adjeteyfio on GH¢1,500 monthly stipend from his MP’s salary

The Greater Accra Regional Minister Mr. Henry Quartey has pledged to pay a monthly stipend of Gh¢1,500.00 to veteran actor Paslm Adejetyfio.
According to him, he has placed a standing order for the monthly transfers of GH¢1,500.00 from his MP’s salary to the account of Paslm Adejetyfio, effective September 2021 till the end of his tenure in the Eighth (8th) Parliament of the Fourth Republic on 7th January 2025.
The Ayawaso Central Member of Parliament made this following a social media appeal emanating from the veteran actor Paslm Adejetyfio through Nii Ayaafio Tetteh, President of the Ga Dangme Youth Association, on the request for financial support for his rent.

“Inspired by your positive impact in the movie and entertainment industry where you distinguished yourself, I have equally decided to support you with a monthly stipend of GHS1,500.00 from my parliamentary salary. I have therefore placed a standing order for the monthly transfers to your account effective September 2021 till the end of my tenure in the Eighth Parliament of the Fourth Republic on 7th January 2025.” Henry Quartey said.
The Regional Minister has also requested for the bank account details of the actor through his secretariat to facilitate the smooth transfers of the monthly salary.
Earlier, the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has donated an amount of GH¢ 50,000.00, being payment for 6 months’ rent renewable for the next 5 years (GH¢ 30,000.00) and GH¢ 20,000.00 for the actor’s upkeep.
Also, Mac Dan has supported the veteran actor Paslm Adejetyfio with an amount of GH¢ 5,000.00 in response to his public appeal.
