The Member of Parliament for Ada Constituency, Hon. Comfort Doyoe Cudjoe Ghansah and a member of the minority caucus of parliament said she has contracted and engaged fashion home to produce local face masks for free distribution to constituents in the bid to curb the community spread of the invisible enemy, COVID-19.
According to the MP, the mask production is subjected to the regulatory guidelines from the Foods and Drugs Authority (FDA) and as such when produced will meet the best standards and serve its purpose to the maximum protection of her constituents in this pandemic era.
In a Facebook post, the honourable Member made it clear that the first batch of 12,000 face masks production has already begun and she’s hoping that everything goes on as planned to ensure meeting the timeline set for delivery of the said 12,000 masks for quick distribution as community spread of the disease is the headache of the country as at now.
In a word of encouragement, she admonished all Ghanaians to stay strong in this national course and together we shall all overcome. Below is her Facebook post.
