Hon. Okudzeto announces commissioning of fully-furnished 300-capacity building for VRA-induced dam spillage victims
North Tongu MP & Partners Safe Alternative Housing Initiative for Spillage Victims
Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, MP for North Tongu constituency has announced the commissioning of a fully-furnished 300-capacity building for victims of the VRA-induced spillage.
According to the North Tongu lawmaker, Hon. Okudzeto, the project was constructed under seven (7) and is ready for commissioning on Saturday, February 10, 2024.
The project is another 300-capacity building for displaced constituents mostly the aged and the physically challenged. The categorized victims will be relocated from the refugee-like tents into modern decent accommodation at the North Tongu MP & Partners Safe Alternative Housing Initiative in Mepe.
Earlier they commissioned a similar project for a different group of the affected victims.
The new “project is a beautiful Disability Friendly and Fully Furnished building. Accommodation and utilities would be free,” Hon. Okudzeto described.
The Special Guest for the project will be “the inspiring mentor and visionary” Former President John Mahama.
“I am exceedingly grateful to all my partners and revered chiefs for the incredible support,” he appreciates.
