How to purchase GES E-Voucher to begin recruitment processes

Application for the Ghana Education Service (GES) to begin recruitment processes of Newly Trained Teachers from the Colleges of Education and Universities requires each applicant to purchase an E-Voucher.

It is mandatory for every applicant to make a one-time payment of GH¢10.00 or otherwise decided to the service provider for the commencement of the online application processes.

According to the Ghana Education Service (GES), the cost of E-Voucher is determined by the Service Providers.

The E-Voucher can be purchased via mobile money transactions using any valid SIM card with Momo.

For one to easily purchase the E-Voucher, kindly follow the steps below as a guide to have your own E-Voucher to begin the GES Recruitment processes when the GES portal is opened for employment.

1. All qualified applicants must visit the Ghana Education Service (GES) online portal via

2. Kindly click on Buy E-Voucher Card.

3. Continue to fill in the appropriate details as required by the system and confirm the payment on your mobile device eg. phone.

That is;

a. Pay with your Mobile Wallet

b. Select Mobile Network. Example MTN, Vodafone etc.

c. Enter Mobile Number (e.g. 0244123456)

d. Enter a valid email address (you will receive your invoice here)

4. After payment, the e-voucher code will be sent to your email address used and your phone number as text message.

5. Proceed to the Ghana Education Service (GES) online application portal.

6. Login into the posting page and enter your College or University Index Number, NTC Licensure code/number, NSS Number and enter the e-voucher code you received on your mobile device to continue the application processes.
