I cannot have Mahama as my successor – President Akufo-Addo

His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo during his address to the chiefs and people of Wa, he expressed his gratitude and for his government and publicly disclosed that he cannot have John Dramani Mahama as his successor.
Speaking at the people, President Akufo-Addo said he can’t let John Mahama to be the next President -President Akufo Addo. To many, the sitting President and per the way he handled Ghana does not qualify him to influence any next candidate in the NPP to win the hearts of Ghanaians on the day of voting for a president in Ghana.
“Before the election is held, I am going to come here and pay my proper goodbye to you and thank you for the cooperation that I received from you when I was president. God willing, when I come, I will come with the man who is going to be my successor.”

Additionally, he didn’t explain the basis on when he can’t have John Mahama whom he removed from the seat as his successor to the Paramount Chief of the Waala traditional area, Naa Fuseini Seidu Pelpuo IV.
“Wa Naa, you know that the man I removed from the seat, I cannot have him as my successor and as a traditional ruler, you understand what I am saying.“ He said at Wa.”
