I have never seen a country with bad football pitch like Ghana – Ex Coach Claud Le Roy

Ghana Blacks Stars’ Ex-coach, Claud Le Roy has shared his position on the health of the football pitches in Ghana. He believes that the pitches in Ghana are the poorest in Africa as a whole.

According to the French football manager, he has never seen a poor pitch like that of the ones in Ghana most especially the Accra sports stadium due to his more than twenty (20) years of experience in Africa.

He said, “The first thing at the stadium is not the quality of the armchair in the VIP room, but the quality of the pitch. In more than 20 years in Africa, It’s the worst pitch I have ever seen”

The health of the pitches is very poor in Ghana and had been left out of the stadiums with the necessary requirements to host International Games by CAF.

Players and Coaches have recently been complaining about the nature of the pitches after matches especially that of the Accra sports stadium, it prevents the smooth flow of the ball on the pitch and high probability of causing injuries.
