The vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia says he is not campaigning to become President in 2024.

It could be recalled that some campaign posters campaigning for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for 2024 were sighted at some parts of the country.

Following these campaign posters circulating in the country, the vice President has distanced himself from such campaign posters.

According to the vice President, he has not given his consent to any such campaign activities as he is busy assisting President Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

A portion of the Vice President’s press release on 24th March, 2021 said

For the record, the Vice President has not given his consent to these and other associated activities.

The Vice President remains focused on assisting His Excellency the President in the execution of his agenda to transform Ghana. This is where everybody’s focus should be.
