It was an administrative error; Govt reinstates School Feeding Coordinator
National School Feeding Programme Coordinator, Gertrude Quashigah
The Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection Sarah Adwoa Safo (MP) has withdrawn her termination letter to the National School Feeding Programme Coordinator Gertrude Quashigah.
According to the Minister, her earlier letter terminating the appointment of Gertrude Quashigah was as a result of an administrative error. This therefore means that, the National Coordinator who was sacked has been reinstated.
Appointment of School Feeding Programme National Coordinator terminated
On 18th May, 2021, the Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection Sarah Adwoa Safo has officially written to terminate the appointment of the National Coordinator of the National School Feeding Programme on behalf of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government.

Barely three (3) days after the termination letter, she has written another letter describing the former as an administrative error on her part, hence has reinstated Gertrude Quashigah to continue to be at post.
In the letter, she said, I write in respect of the above subject mater. This is to inform you of my decision to withdraw my earlier letter dated 18th May, 2021. I wish to state that my earlier letter was as a result of an administrative error.
