Otto Addo, the Head Coach of the Ghana National Team has dropped Jordan Ayew and Andre Dede Ayew – the Captain of the team from Black Stars starting lineup against Nicaragua in International World Cup friendlies.
The Coach made changes to the starting line-up for Ghana’s game against Nicaragua.
Otto Addo made eight (8) changes to the team that started against Brazil on Friday, 23rd September, 2022.
In the starting lineup against Nicaragua, only Daniel Amartey, Baba Iddrisu and Mohammed Kudus are the only players keeping their places.
Orlando Pirates shot-stopper, Richard Ofori starts ahead of Jojo Wollacott and Manaf Nurudeen.
Gideon Mensah returns to the starting lineup, playing on the left side of defence while Alidu Seidu slides in at right-back. Daniel Amartey and Mohammed Salisu play as the centre-backs.
In the middle of the park, Iddrisu and Daniel-Kofi Kyereh will control affairs for the Black Stars, with the Freiburg midfielder earning a spot in the team after his fine cameo against Brazil.
Inaki Williams gets his first start for the team and leads the attack with Fatawu Issahaku, Kudus and Osman Bukari playing behind him.
Alexander Djiku, Tariq Lamptey and Kamaldeen Sulemana won’t be involved in Ghana’s pre World Cup friendly against Nicaragua tonight. According to the Medical Team, they are currently on injury.
