Jordan Ayew says he has tested positive for Covid-19.

Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Crystal Palace and the Ghana national football team Jordan Pierre Ayew has revealed that he has tested positive for coronavirus.

In a tweet on his Officially verified tweeter handle yesterday, Jordan Pierre Ayew indicated that he is currently in quarantine because he has tested positive for Covid-19.


According to Jordan Ayew, even though he has tested positive for Covid-19 he is asymptomatic and feeling fine and he will be cheering on his team mates from home.

In a tweet, Jordan Pierre Ayew wrote;

Sadly, I have tested positive for Covid-19 & have begun my quarantine in line with the health guidance.

Thankfully, I am feeling fine & do not have any symptoms 🙏🏾

I will be cheering the boys on from home & look forward to being back on the pitch soon 💪🏽🔴🔵

Jordan Ayew becomes the fourth Ghanaian footballer to contract Covid-19 after the Black Stars’ friendly games against Mali and Qatar.

Gideon Mensah, Bernard Mensah, Gideon Mensah, and Kassim Nuhu, who were all part of the Ghana National team, have also reportedly tested positive for Covid-19.
