Video: John Dramani Mahama says the Media has Given Nana Addo’s Government a free ticket when it comes to Corruption

The flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama says the media has given Government a free ticket when it comes to corruption.

Speaking during an interview on Asempa FM, John Dramani Mahama explained that when the National Democratic Congress was in Power, the media held them accountable but the media is not doing same to the Nana Akufo Addo led Government.

The former President also indicated that the media is not discussing issues about corruption as they use to do in 2016 when his Government was in Power.

Touching further on Corruption, John Dramani Mahama explained that it’s not that Corruption will not occur but how you deal with it when it takes place that matters.

In the interview, John Dramani Mahama said;

One thing about Corruption is that, it’s not that it won’t take place but when you as a President appoints someone to head a state institution, you will not know what he is doing there untill it comes up that there’s Corruption but when it up, you must allow the various investigative bodies to deal with it
