Ketanji Onyika Brown Jackson popularly known as Ketanji Jackson is an American jurist. Ketanji holds office as an associate justice of the Supreme Court of the United States.

After Jackson’s nomination to the Supreme Court by President Joe Biden, it was contested by the opposition party from February 25, 2022 to April 2022. She was then confirmed by the United States Senate on 7th April, 2022. 

She began her term on the U.S. Supreme Court in October, 2022. She is the first Black woman in United States history to ever serve on the court.
