Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) emerged victorious over Pentecost University in the latest installment (5.0) of the Tertiary Business Sense Challenge (TBSC) held on Tuesday, securing their advancement to the next stage of the competition.

The TBSC, orchestrated by the Graphic Communications Group Limited, serves as a platform to keep students well-informed about the dynamic developments in the business sector and the overall economy.

Its goal is to equip students with the knowledge needed to make sound decisions within this sector.

KNUST exhibited their prowess in the quarter-finals by amassing a remarkable 74 points, a stark contrast to Pentecost University’s score of 31.33 points.

Sponsoring the TBSC version 5.0 are prominent entities such as MTN Ghana, CompuGhana, Accra Brewery Limited, PwC, Goil Ghana, Cal Bank, McVities, and Glico Life, among others.

Collaborating with the event are the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG), Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIMA), Graphic Business, Graphic Online, TV3, Asaase Radio, and KTU Radio. The event centered around the theme “Preparation Ahead of Opportunity; Business as a way of Life.”

The TBSC has solidified its position as one of the most significant and embraced competitions among tertiary business schools nationwide.

It has been designed to foster constructive rivalry among various tertiary business schools across the country, ultimately contributing to the enrichment of students’ business acumen.
