Let development be the only matter of concern in confirming North Tongu DCE nominee – Hon. Okudzeto
The industrious Lawmaker of the North Tongu Constituency Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has urged the Assembly Members of the District to consider development as the only matter of concern in confirming the North Tongu DCE nominee, Mr. Osborn Divine K. Fenu.
According to the Member of Parliament, it is important to harness the available resources and the potentials in the District and beyond towards its development.

Speaking at the confirmation ceremony of the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s nominee at the North Tongu District Assembly Court room on Tuesday, 5th October, 2021, the MP said, Assembly Members do not carry party colours in exercising their constitutional mandated responsibilities, as a result, the day should not be considered as a party function.
“The confirmation exercise is everything about decentralization. That’s, one gain for all. It is about development. It’s not about backwards. Neither it’s about party colours. Carry out your mandate in the key interest of the development of the North Tongu District. Constitutional matters are not exercised in party colours. ” Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa said.

He further urged Assembly Members that, the only matter that, should be of concern to them should be about development of their beloved North Tongu District.
He reiterated that, North Tongu is growing in all sectors based on the current statistics and available records, hence there is a need to continue the development of the District.
