The former president John Dramani Mahama and the 2020 presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has sympathized with the people of Appiatse.
Following an explosion in Appiatse a town near Bogoso, the 2020 presidential candidate of the NDC took on to social media to express his heartfelt sympathy to the people of Appiatse in the Bogoso District.
He asked for prayers of swift recovery for affected people prompting security and emergency services to work assiduously to curb damages and ease the suffering of affected communities.
He also expressed the NDC and the people of Ghana stood in solidarity with the people of Appiatse.

My deepest condolences to the families of the victims of the unfortunate disaster at Appiatse, in the Bogoso District of the Western Region this afternoon.”
“Let’s pray for the speedy recovery of the injured, as we also urge the security and emergency services to continue to work assiduously to alleviate the damage and suffering in the affected communities.”
