A National Communications Team Member of the NDC who is also the current President of the Volta Regional Surveyors Association of Ghana, Surveyor Maxwell Lukutor has made a cash donation to the Volta Regional Secretariat of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). The donation was received by the Regional Chairman Henry Ametefe, to support the party’s activities in the December 2020 Polls electioneering campaign.
Surveyor Maxwell Kwame Lukutor who wanted to represent the South Tongu NDC in the Ghanaian Parliament but lost out narrowly in the last primaries of the party in August 2019 has also made an earlier donation of a 43′ Samsung flat screen TV to the Constituency office on their request.
Surveyor Maxwell Kwame Lukutor has also donated an undisclosed amount of money to support the South Tongu Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
In an interview with Coverghana Media Network (Coverghan.com.gh), Surveyor Lukutor disclosed that, his outfit has adopted four (4) branches in the Kpotame Electoral Area.
According to him, he adopted the four (4) branches in his community Kpotame in order to nurture the branches and keep them alive and ready for Monday’s election as well as subsequent elections.
He added that, the adoption will specifically help these branches provide some needs of the people within their polling station such as hiring chairs, refreshments, hiring motorbikes and vehicles for errands during the elections among others.
The South Tongu Constituency Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, Mr. Henry Ampah Johnson who received the items and the cash on behalf of party said, they shall make good use of the donation to help rebrand NDC in the run up to the December 7th polls.
The Constituency Secretary, Francis Nyamasekpor on behalf of the Constituency Chairman who is the leader of the Campaign Team and on behalf of the incumbent MP and Parliamentary Candidate Wisdom Kobena Mensah Woyome express appreciation of the Constituency Executive to Surv. Maxwell Kwame Lukutor for his kind donations and good gestures to the party in the constituency.
