Meet Labah Martin, JASICO Best graduating student for Primary Education

Mr. Martin Kossi Labah has graduated as the Best graduating student in Primary Education at Jasikan College of Education (JASICO).
Mr. Labah graduated with a CGPA of 3.68, making him stand out among his peers who studied for the B.Ed Primary Education (Visual Arts) programme.
Mr. Labah Martin, widely known as Omar, hails from Aflao, a border town in the Volta Region. He attended Anlo Afiadenyigba SHS, where he studied Visual Arts and sat for his second external examination, the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), in the year 2014.
Due to reasons and other decisions, the Best graduating student for the Primary Education programme, Omar, did not continue his tertiary education in the same year. He was admitted in 2019 to pursue a B.Ed Primary Education (Mathematics) at Jasikan College of Education (JASICO), formerly located in the Volta Region but currently in the Oti Region.

Not forgetting his roots and direction, Martin invested all his strength and might into the 4-year degree program to bag the highest honor to mark how determined he is and his passion for his career.
The year 2019 was filled with the world’s pandemic, COVID-19 but Martin did not feel reluctant. Despite the Ghanaian education sector being shut down traditionally, he did not relax for the re-opening of the traditional mode of learning. He kept pushing hard through all the dark times for the ultimate prize (1st Class Honors).
Acknowledging the efforts of Mr. Martin Kossi Labah, the College gave him a package as an appreciation of his good academic achievement and bringing more glory to his Alma Mater, JASICO.
Giving out how he sailed through successfully to earn this feat, he shared a word of motivation.
“Persistence is key to overcoming challenges and achieving success. I urge the people who are yet to go through the system to remain steadfast and always remember that nothing lasts forever. They should also pray always.
Success will shake a smiling hand with you all in due time,” Mr. Labah shared.
