The Chief Executive Officer for the Minerals Commission has been directed to suspend the registration of Jocyderk Logistic Limited.
The suspension is as a follow up, after a preliminary investigation into the Appiatse Explosion revealed that, Maxam Ghana Limited sub-contracted Jocyderk Logistic Limited to undertake clearing, warehouse and transportation of explosives.

The directive was stated in a letter, emanating from the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources, signed by Hon. Samuel A. Jinapor (MP), the sector minister.
The suspension, according to the letter, was in accordance with Article 297 of the constitution and regulations 27 of the Minerals and Mining (Explosives) Regulations, 2012 (L.I 2177), to ensure a fair and impartial investigation into the circumstances leading to the incident.
