“Mr. Freddie Blay, where are the 275 buses you promised the NPP?” – Sir Obama Pokuase

A social media commentator of the ruling New Patriotic Party popularly called Sir-Obama Pokuase has opened ‘fire’ on the party chairman Mr. Freddie Blay.

It could be recalled that, the current NPP National Chairman Mr. Freddie Blày during the Party’s internal election in 2018 promised to buy some buses for the party.

In his campaign promises then, Mr. Freddie Blay said that he will ensure that all the Constituencies get a commercial bus each to help in managing the country’s finances.

However, Mr. Freddie Blay has not been able to fulfill his promise to the supporters of the New Patriotic Party across the 275 constituencies.

As the party prepares to go into another round of Elections to elect new Party executives ahead of the 2024 general elections, some supporters have questioned their chairman on the promises he made during the previous election.

A Communications specialist and starwlet with the party popularly called Sir-Obama Pokuase in a post asked

“Mr. Freddie Blay, where are the 275 buses you promised the NPP? 🤷‍♂️”

He also called on the delegates of the party to hold Mr. Freddie Blay accountable for his unfulfilled promises.

“You can’t just promise buses for election purposes. NPP delegates must hold their Chairman accountable! 👎”
