The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced the scheduled date for the conduct of the party’s Presidential and Parliamentary primaries ahead of the 2024 General Elections.
NDC PRESIDENTIAL & PARLIAMENTARY PRIMARIES DATE
The General Secretary of the party, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey announced 13th May 2023 as the slated date for both the Presidential and Parliamentary primaries.
The said announcement was by the General Secretary of NDC was made to their Headquarters today, Wednesday, 18th January 2023.
COST OF FORM AND FILING FEE
Per the party’s schedule, the cost of form for Parliamentary candidates is GH¢5,000.00. In addition to the form picking cost, the candidates will pay a non-refundable filing fees (GH¢40,000.00).

On the other edge, Presidential candidates will picks form at a cost of GH¢30,000.00 with a filing cost of GH¢500,000.00 which is a non-refundable fee.
In addition, Mr. Fifi Kwetey stated that nominations will be opened for two (2) days starting from 22nd February 2023 to 24th February 2023.
In supporting disabled female candidates and other persons who are disabled but interested, the party halved the filing fee for them.
FORMS SUBMISSION DATE
The date scheduled for the submission of forms and filing fees is starts on 20th March 2023 and ends on 22nd March 2023.
NDC PRIMARIES VETTING DATE
Vetting has been slated for two (2) days starting from 27th March 2023 to 29th March 2023.
DATE FOR APPEALS
From 30th March 2023 to 6th April 2023 has been announced for appeals.
