NIA boss should be held accountable for any breach of Covid-19 safety protocols

The Ghana Medical Association (GMA) proposed that, the National Identification Authority (NIA) Executive Secretary Professor Kenneth Attafuah should be held accountable for any breaches of novel Coronavirus pandemic safety protocols at NIA centres across Ghana.

The Ghana Medical Association in a statement issued after its National Executive Committee meeting bemoans the disregard of precautionary measures and safety protocols outlined by the Ghana Health Service to help fight the Coronavirus pandemic at NIA’s ongoing exercise to distribute Ghana cards to applicants.

The GMA expresses worry over the NIA total breaches of COVID-19 protocols and wishes to remind them on their core mandates as an institution to keep Ghanaians safe during their exercise.
