North Tongu MP’s Scholarship Scheme produces first Aerospace Engineer

The North Tongu MP’s Scholarship Scheme has produced its first Aerospace Engineer, Miss Alice Dziwornu.

The Scheme’s head, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa took to his social media handle to disclose the mighty success chalked by the Scheme so far.

The North Tongu constituency lawmaker showered praises on Miss Dziwornu for achieving the great feat.

The full congratulatory message from Hon. Okudzeto reads

My beloved North Tongu has produced its first ever Aerospace Engineer.

We are prouder that this was achieved by an outstanding female who also graduated with a first class from KNUST on Friday.

Congratulations to the incredibly brilliant Miss Alice Dziwornu.

Alice secured full sponsorship from the North Tongu MP’s Scholarship Scheme to pursue her dreams.

I have offered another full scholarship for her masters.

When Alice’s mum told me five years ago that with the passing of Alice’s dad she had no hope of further education, I assured her that with God there is hope.

I am delighted my Scholarship Scheme has played a little part in her great story.

Emerging tops in a male dominated field, I have no doubt that Miss Dziwornu will achieve her ambition of working with Boeing and motivating girls in rural Ghana to embrace STEM.

Thanks Alice for making me a proud MP.
