The Member of Parliament for the North Tongu Constituency Honourable Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa fights darkness on the street of his beloved constituency in the Volta Region of Ghana.
Not too long a go Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa (MP) announced yet another social initiative christened, Operation Brighten Every Corner ( OBEC) to lit up the streets and some national installations such as schools, Police Stations, Health facilities etc. within the North Tongu Constituency.
The Member of Parliament who is popularly hailed by his constituents as “Togbe Worgbedzi” has procured a good number of street lights in honour of his fight against darkness on the streets of North Tongu
This, the people’s MP believed would go a long way to reduce crime and beat down on accident related injuries at night within the constituency.

Reporting to Coverghana.com.gh news team, the NDC Communications Officer of the Constituency Mornyuie Kennedy said, in the coming days, the installation will escalate to cover all other traditional areas of North Tongu Constituency.
“North Tongu’s Operation Brighten Every Corner (OBEC) is real. Glad to join the team in Juapong this evening to continue with our agenda of providing some 1,000 street lights as we improve visibility and enhance the safety of my beloved constituents.” Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa told.
