Okudzeto Ablakwa hints on demonstration against Akufo-Addo’s luxurious spending on private jets

Ranking Member of Foreign Affairs Committee of Parliament Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has hinted on a massive demonstrations against President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on his luxurious spending on jets.
According to the North Tongu Member of Parliament, on May 27, 2021, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo flew a private jet at huge sum of taxpayers money which generated brouhaha in the country. The action of the President happened in the Heart and crisis of COVID-19.

Currently, the President of Ghana again took LX-DIO executive jet to France from the ‘European luxury jet rental company’ at a cost of GH¢3.5 million. He returned with 777-236(ER) British Airways commercial flight back to Accra yesterday around 8:00pm
Okudzeto said, “If between now and 27th May, 2022, President Akufo-Addo oncd again abandons Ghana’s Presidential Jet and charters an ultra -luxury US$18,000 an hour executive jet, we will and are absolutely ready to stage what shall be the biggest demonstration ever to hit his government.”
