Okudzeto urges new MMDCEs to complete abandoned projects before initiating theirs

The Honourable Ranking Member on Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee, Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has urged newly confirmed Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives to complete projects of their predecessors before initiating theirs.

Available records has affirmed that, there are lot of abandoned projects by successive govermment across the country due to change of political power from one party to another.

This, according to many is stampeding the development of Ghana, making the citizenry suffer the consequences.

In a statement, the North Tongu Member of Parliament said, it is his fervent prayer that all newly confirmed MMDCEs under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government would not follow the terrible example set by central government, by abandoning projects of previous government.

Okudzeto Ablakwa pledges to work with Osborn Fenu to develop North Tongu

“They must commit at all cost to complete projects of their predecessors before initiating theirs.” Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa.

He noted that, the litany of abandoned projects must not be decentralized.
