Papa Owusu-Ankomah came out with a beautiful results which enabled him to further in Law at University of Ghana, Legon.

He completed with LL.B(Homs) second (2nd) class upper in 1979.

In 1979 after graduating, he continued his education at Ghana school of the law to gain his professional studies in law.

Papa Owusu-Ankomah successfully graduated in 1981 where he was called to join Ghana Bar immediately.

Political career

Papa Owusu-Ankomah was ones the chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Western Region and also the a founding member of Danquah-Busia Club.

Also in 1997, Honorable Owusu Ankomah was selected to be part of the National Executive Committee and also the National Council for the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

During the Publicity Committee of the Camp Board of the NPP in the year 2000, Papa Owusu-Ankomah was selected to be part of the Board Members.

Again, after been appointed as the Deputy Majority leader, he was elected to hold the position of the Majority Leader in Parliament.

Also, he became the Chairman for the Communication Committee of the National Steering Committee from October 2001 – March 2003. He was elected in 2006 to be part of the National Campaign Board.
