Permanent Job for Health Professionals

A premium specialist hospital located in the heart of Upper East Regional capital -Bolgatanga requires the service of the following health and allied health professionals for permanent employment:

1. Specialist (Obstetrics and Gynaecology)

Required Person Specification: 

Advertisement
  • Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MB ChB) or equivalent medical qualification.
  • A postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to the level of Membership Or Fellowship of the GCPS/WACPS or equivalent.
  • Registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Ghana.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Training in the field of relevant specialty and across a wide range of management and leadership issues.

2. Medical Officer

Required Person Specification: 

  • Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MB ChB) or its equivalent.
  • Two (2) years post qualification working experience.
  • Active Registration with the Medical and Dental Council.
  • Evidence of leadership and continuing professional development.

3. Head of Nursing

Qualifications Required: 

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with Degree in Nursing.
  • Experience/Qualification in Midwifery.
  • Experience in Public Health.
  • Ten (10) years’ post qualification working experience.
  • Active PIN
  • Membership of GCNM will be an added advantage.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development and training in Management.

OR

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with Masters in Nursing.
  • Experience/Qualification in Midwifery.
  • Experience in Public Health.
  • A minimum of three (3) years postgraduate qualification working experience.
  • Active PIN
  • Membership of GCNM will be an added advantage.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional development and training in Management.

4. Registered Midwife

Qualifications Required: 

  • Registered Midwife (RM) with Degree in Midwifery.
  • Five (5) years’ post qualification working experience.
  • Active PIN.
  • Membership of GCNM will be an added advantage.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development and training in Management.

5. Biomedical Scientist

Qualifications Required: 

  • BSc in Biomedical Science/Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
  • Registration with Allied Health Professions Council.
  • Active PIN.
  • At least five (5) years’ post registration working experience.
  • At least one (1) year in managerial role.
  • Evidence of continuing professional education.

6. Clinical Pharmacist

Qualifications Required: 

  • Bachelor in Pharmacy/Doctor in Pharmacy.
  • At least five (5) years’ post registration working experience.
  • Registered Pharmacist (Active registration with GPC).
  • Evidence of leadership and continuing professional development.

7. Radiographer

Qualifications Required: 

  • BSc/B-Tech in Radiography.
  • Three (3) years post qualification working experience.
  • Registration with Allied Health Professions Council.
  • Active PIN.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development in Radiographic services.

8. Photographer

Qualifications Required: 

  • Qualification in Sonography.
  • Two (2) years post qualification working experience.

  •  Evidence of continuous professional development in radiographic services.

9. Health Services Administrator

Qualifications Required: 

  • Bachelor/Masters Degree in Health Services Management.
  • Five (5) years’ post qualification working experience.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development and training in Management.

10. Head of Human Resource

Qualifications Required: 

  • Bachelor/Masters Degree in Human Resources Management.
  • Membership of CIHRMP is an added advantage.
  • Five (5) years’ post qualification working experience.
  • Evidence of experience in the health sector.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development and training in Management.

11. Front Desk Executive

Qualifications Required: 

  • Higher National Diploma (HND) or University Diploma in General Management.
  • Three (3) years’ post qualification working experience.
  • Evidence of experience in the health sector.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development and training in Management.

12. Biostatistician

Qualifications Required: 

  • Bachelor/Masters Degree in Health Information Management.
  • Five (5) years’ post qualification working experience.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development and training in Management.

13. ICT Manager

Qualifications Required: 

  • Bachelor/Masters Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (IT).
  • At least three (3) years’ post qualification working experience in the health sector.
  • Expertise in System Administration, specifically computer hardware and networking.
  • Experience in clinical engineering is an added advantage.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development and training in Management.
