The Information Minister Designate Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has taken his Covid-19 vaccine jab publicly after President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo and the Second Lady Samira Bawumia have received their jabs.

This happened ahead of the scheduled date for the vaccination Programme in order to restore confident in Ghanaians that the vaccine is safe for use.

Today, Tuesday, 2nd March, 2021, the vaccination exercise continues in earnest with the deployment of the Covishield vaccine programme across the priority areas and priority persons as outlined by the President in his update No. 24 on measures taken against spread of Coronavirus.

“I took my Covid19 jab after President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia publicly took theirs early in the day today.” Kojo Oppong Nkrumah announced.”
