Mr. Franklin Cudjoe, the Founding President of the IMANI Africa has lauded praises on the Vice Presidential Candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang for putting out a very resilient, political free, motivational and refreshing speech during her outdooring ceremony yesterday.
Mr. Frankin Cudjoe has noted with much surprise how the former Education Minister has delivered a well-crafted speech without blemish and political attack. In a statement, the renowned founder of IMANI said, the upcoming December 7 polls will be a great contest between the governing New Patriotic Party and the opposition National Democratic Congress with a new trend of politics emerging from the NDC.
He further proposed that, the must be a presidential and vice presidential debates between H.E John Dramani Mahama and President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang and Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia respectively ahead of the December 2020 polls.
“So who wrote Jane’s speech? Such dignifying candour, verve, humane and almost no vitriol. These hallowed words must have meaning should the NDC sail through, not before the hardworking of convincing the voters. It will be a great contest. There must be debates between John and Nana, and Jane and Bawumia- physical or virtual.”
The Think Tank President added that, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang’s speech was cleverly woven, motivationally crafted and leave no spot to her political opponents to attack her personality among others.
Mr. Cudjoe who earlier proposed a presidential debate among the leaders of political parties is again calling for a real debate between NPP and NDC. According to him, any attempt by either party to turn down his proposal will force him to openly create one by comparing policies.

“I woke up. I realise that Jane’s speeches are cleverly woven and leave no blind spots to attack her. Something strategic is unfolding here. Leaves bewildered folks to simply say, it is HIM not HER. As if God forbid, something natural prevents Nana Addo from performing his duties, Bawumia cannot act. It is HIM and HIM, and HIM and HER. I am calling for a real debate with these powerful four. Else, I will be forced to create one by comparing policies, right here. Okay going back to sleep.” He said.

Yesterday, Monday, 27th July, 2020, the National Democratic Congress led by its flagbearer John Dramani Mahama has formally outdoor the party’s Vice Presidential Candidate Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).
During the event, professor Opoku-Agyemang has delivered her maiden speech since her appointment as a running mate. Her speech according to many has awaken Ghanaians on descent politics. Though, a few were not in support of her candidature, it does appear many Ghanaians especially women and members of the NDC are convinced on her nomination and are hoping for victory come December 2020.
