Professor Lydia Aziato Biography
Lydia Aziato (Prof) is a professional nurse and Researcher with over 20 years experience in professional practice and currently the Vice Chancellor for University of Health ans Allied Sciences (UHAS).
Her area of specialization is in oncology nursing. She worked in several nursing institutions both in Ghana and outside the country. Subsequently, Lydia became the Dean of Students for the university of Ghana, nursing and midwifery school.

As a senior Oncologist, Lydia Aziato was made to chair the maiden faculty created for Oncology nursing in Ghana. Lydia Aziato was inducted into office as Vice Chancellor for University of Health and Allied Sciences in Ghana on 11th August, 2022.

Lydia Aziato had her secondary education at the Ghana Senior High School in Koforidua, Eastern Region of Ghana.
In 2001, Lydia obtained a first degree in nursing and Psychology from the University of Ghana.
In pursuit of further knowledge, She furthered at the University of Western Cape in South Africa where she garnered a PhD in nursing in 2013.
