At the just-ended FIFA World Cup, 2022 held in Qatar, the federation has given prize money to all participating countries based on merit.
FIFA allocated a total of $440 Million prize money to all the thirty-two (32) countries which partake in the 2022 World Cup tournament.
The prize money was given based on the participant’s /country’s reach in the tournament. Simply, countries that left the tournament at the Group Stage will receive lower prize money as compared to the Stages ahead of them.

The county that excelled to the final / Winner, Runner-up country, Third place country, Fourth place country, Quarter-final countries, Round of 16 countries, and Group Stage countries all took the prize money due to them.
