Reach Out Medical Team to conduct Free Medical Screening and Surgeries


A Non-Governmental Organization known as Reach Out Medical Team is set to conduct Free Medical Screening and Surgeries.

According to Dr. Frank Yirenkyi (Urologist), they have designed this all important Medical Screening and Surgeries as part of the Prostate Cancer Awareness Month in September, 2021.

Reach Out  Medical Team and Dr. Frank Yirenkyi (Urologist) in collaboration with Worawora Govermment Hospital will be conducting Free Medical Screening and Surgeries for the following conditions:

1. Prostate cancer and other prostate disorders.

2. Hernias.

3. Fibroids.

Dr. Frank Yirenkyi reiterated that, the Screenings and Surgeries are Free and the cost will be borne by them. This mean, nobody is expected to pay any amount of money for the exercise.

He added that, this month’s exercise is scheduled to take place at Worawora Govermment Hospital, in Oti Region from 20th September, 2021 to 25th September, 2021.

The Screening exercise will commence at 8:00 am on each day for the five days.

Interested person are directed to come along with your valid National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) cards for the screening and treatment.
