The Bundesliga returned with a star who is shining brighter than everyone else, Kai Havertz. The young German footballer was the object of many rumours prior to the coronavirus break and his spectacular performances have made the Europe Champions to go in for him.
‘SportBild’ says that Madrid have offered 80 million euros for the Bayer Leverkusen star. Kai Havertz’s performances since the restart made everyone watching the Bundelsliga games.
Many big clubs in Europe are linked to the German man but Madrid is now the first to make him an offer.
The ‘Los Blancos’ won’t find it easy to hand the player as he is still having two years contract with the club. The club also demand 100 million euros which means that Madrid didn’t hit the target.
However, it could be deliberate as Bayern Munich are also interested in the player. They are the other major candidate to sign him.
Whatever the reason, Leverkusen want to make more from selling the talent. If they cannot sell him this year for 100 million, they seem willing to do so in the coming season. They want to hold onto him for at least another year.
The German international who made 26 appearances this season, scoring 11 goals and making 5 assist. However Real Madrid’s offer is likely to be rejected as they couldn’t hit the targeted 100 million.
