Ms. Josephine Nkrumah has resigned as the Chairperson of the National Commission for Civic Education.
The NCCE boss, on 21st February, 2022 has tendered in her resignation to the office President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
In another resignation letter addressed to the Commission Members and Staff, madam Josephine Nkrumah explained that, her resignation as the Chairperson will be effective 30th April, 2022.

Our findings have revealed that, Josephine Nkrumah has tender in her resignation purposely to take up a new position as an Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Ambassador to Liberia.
She indicated that, in the next few weeks, her outfit will furnish the Commission with handing over notes during her time of transition at the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE).

Madam Josephine Nkrumah served as the Deputy Chairperson of NCCE from 1st April, 2015 to 19th December, 2016 responsible for Finance and Administration.

She was later elevated as Chairperson of the Commission and served from 20th December 2016 untill her resignation.
She said, it has been an honour to serve Ghana at NCCE.
