“The Functional Executive Committee (FEC) has thoroughly considered and approved the criteria (attached) for the recruitment of NDC Polling Agents.

“We wish to emphasise that this crucial recruitment exercise demands your utmost cooperation and compliance with the approved criteria without favouritism. This is because the choices you make must provide the much-needed competent, committed, and loyal Poling Agents who will serve as the vanguard and bulwark of our dear party the NDC, our Flagbearer John Dramani Mahama, and all our 276 Parliamentary Candidates at the polling stations on Saturday, December 7, 2024.

“As a result, we ask all Constituency Executive Committees, including their respective Parliamentary Candidates, to work together with Branch Executives to nominate four (4) Polling Agents for each Branch/polling station.

“To enable expeditious processing and examination of the nominated Polling Agents, Regional Secretaries assisted by Regional Directors of Elections are to compile and forward the list of the nominated Polling Agents to the National Elections Directorate via WhatsApp number, 0531004614 not later than Wednesday, April 03, 2024.

“For the avoidance of doubt (and we do not encourage this), where Constituency Executives are unable to reach consensus with Parliamentary Candidates (PCS), the Constituency Executives shall nominate three (3) and PCs shall nominate one (1) in order to arrive at the targeted four (4) Polling Agents per Polling Station. The PCs shall communicate such exceptional choices directly to the National Elections Directorate.

“Additionally, the assessment and training of the nominated Polling Agents is scheduled for April 2024 ahead of the Electoral Commission’s Voter Registration exercise in May. This being the case, the National Elections Directorate has begun training Master Trainers who will be training the Trainers of Polling Agents in the regions.
