Second Term reopening date for Basic Schools 2023/2024 Academic Year

According to the GES released 2023/2024 academic year calendar, the second term reopening date has been specified.

The second term in the 2023/2024 academic year is slated to start in January 2024.

Second Term duration

The second term in the 2023/2024 academic year has fourteen (14) weeks.

The term with start from 9th January 2024 through to 11th April 2024.

Second Term vacation date

The second vacation will commence on the 12th of April 2024 through to the 29th of April 2024.

Third Term reopening

The third term in the 2023/2024 academic year has thirteen (13) weeks.

Learners will stay in school from 30th April 2024 to 25th July 2024.

BECE is slated for July 2024.

The 2023/2024 academic year will end in July 2024. The next academic year, 2024/2025 will start in September 2024.
